Who Carries Whom
Choreography & Concept Albert Garrell
Music Lawrence English, Alessandro Cortini, Loscil & William Basinski.
"Who Carries Whom is a contemporary dance piece that investigates weight as an invisible yet deeply embodied force, moving between the physical, emotional, and social. Through a choreography of collapse and suspension, density and lightness, the dancers navigate unstable states where gravity seems to shift and relocate within the body. Weight is explored not only as a physical condition but as an internal sensation.

IN HER FLESH
Choreography and musical landscape: Shannon Gillen (VIM VIGOR)
"IN HER FLESH explores the female body through function, rhythm, and ritualized movement, tracing cycles of exertion and transformation. Performers move through cinematic frameworks while embodying VIM VIGOR’s raw, risk-taking physicality. Rooted in collective magic, the piece considers how energy moves through and beyond the bodies on stage."
Part 2: BA Commercial level 5 students
Swi Swa Sway
Choreography & performance: Annie Mealor, Jill Strynck, Lena Hulselmans & Lottie Wilkins
Music: Sway - Dean Martin
Loca

Sinners
Choreography: Geena Pacareu
Music: Pale, pale moon - Jayme Lawson. This Little Light of Mine - Miles Caton, DC6 Singers Collective, Pleasant Valley Youth Choir of New Orleans & Lynette Williams
"Inspired by the Sinners soundtrack, this piece is a celebration of freedom of expression through music and dance within a community oppressed by slavery.
It emerges from the moment when music moves beyond religion and begins to reflect lived reality: work, childhood, hardship, and the longing to belong. Music becomes a way of telling these experiences, and by stepping outside what was imposed, these voices were deemed dangerous, even sinful.
The work moves between the permitted and the forbidden, between expectation and what insists on existing.
And when this form of expression becomes uncomfortable for others, when it is read as excessive or wrong, the piece does not withdraw. It remains — like a flame that refuses to go out. Like a freedom that, even when judged, chooses to exist."

Too much
Choreography: Pepo Alert
Music: Dj Death - Yullola. Too Much -Pedro da Linha & Magugu
“TOO MUCH explores the disconnection between body and mind in a fast-paced, overstimulated world. Through an intense physical language, the piece reveals how the nervous system continuously sends signals of distress while the mind keeps pushing forward, ignoring the body’s warnings. As tension accumulates, the body reaches a point of internal collapse, where exhaustion transforms into anger and awareness emerges. It reflects on the consequences of living in constant acceleration, questioning how far we can go before losing ourselves and what happens when the body can no longer be silenced."
