Our Foundation Commercial Dance course is designed to give you intense training over two terms to develop your skills and artistry, preparing you to access degree-level education or helping you refine your dance technique.

You will study a range of commercial dance styles, including Jazz, Commercial and Hip-Hop, alongside Ballet, Contemporary and supplementary classes, to develop you as a versatile and confident performer.

Strengthen the foundation of Commercial Dance

Commercial dance is about more than learning routines. It’s about energy, precision and the ability to connect with an audience. At IAB, students develop the skills and versatility needed to become confident, adaptable and expressive performers.

Training spans a range of commercial styles, including Jazz, Commercial and Hip-Hop, alongside Ballet and Contemporary technique.

Students also develop their Performance Skills through Singing, Acting and Tap, and create and perform their own solo in Choreography, building the all-round skill set the industry looks for.

Please note

This is not a beginner course. Previous dance training is required to join the programme, which will be assessed during the audition process.
