Lecturer in Acting

The Institute of the Arts Barcelona (IAB) seeks a dedicated and experienced Acting Lecturer to make a significant contribution to all its Acting programmes.

This role requires a dynamic individual with expertise and experience in actor training for stage and screen with additional leadership skills. The Acting Lecturer will join an established and dynamic team and will contribute to the delivery and development of all programmes, with particular focus on developing the acting element of the new Foundation Acting programme.

Musical Theatre Programme Leader

The IAB is seeking an experienced full time Musical Theatre Programme Leader.

 This role requires a dynamic individual with expertise in musical theatre and proven leadership and educational skills. IT Systems Administrator

The IAB is seeking a part-time IT Systems Administrator.

The postholder will be responsible for understanding and implementing technologies that help the Institute achieve its business goals and objectives. They will advise the Senior Leadership Team on all technology decisions and developing, testing, and implementing IT solutions. They will know and apply the technology, methodology, products and/or tools needed to ensure that the IT structure of the Institute remains current and adaptive to the wider needs of the company.

Social media intern

We are seeking Social Media Intern. 

Tasks include:
  • Manage our social media channels and weekly calendar (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter and TikTok)
  • Create, schedule, and post various types of engaging content.
  • Interact with followers by responding to direct messages/comments from followers. 
  • Work alongside the team to brainstorm ideas for the social media strategy. 
  • Analyze data to see which posts worked best and see what can be improved.
  • Craft engaging copy as needed for videos, posts and posters. 
  • Work alongside the team to define a social media strategy and target audience. 
  • Produce branded content that will be repurposed for organic and paid posts.

Copywriters Portfolio Submission

The IAB is seeking freelance copywriters who have an interest and background in writing blogs related to the performing arts. Some blogs will need research for content development, while others may require editing.

Open to IAB alumni and students as well as external writers.

Experience in the performing arts is a MUST.
