Admissions into our programmes are competitive. They are based on the talent and creativity displayed during the audition and the level of commitment demonstrated to the performing arts.

WHAT DOES THE APPLICATION CONSIST OF?
You will be asked to enter:
- Your personal details
- Past and current qualifications
- Description of your relevant experience (150-500 words)
- Description of your career aims (100-200 words)
Additional requirements for Master’s applications:
Your performance/creative CV (in English)
In 1000-1200 words, please answer the following:
- Why you wish to join the programme
- What you will bring to the programme through your prior artistic and professional experience and collaborations
- How you define creative performance practice in relation to your specialism (acting, choreography or musical theatre)
- A weak point related to your practice that you would like to develop
- How you understand the differences between working independently as an individual artist and in collaborative way as part of an interdisciplinary environment
How do I pay the application fee?
You can pay your application fee here. You only need to pay this once, even if you are applying to more than one programme.

What is the audition process?
We offer In-Person auditions and Live Online auditions on Zoom.
Every programme has a different audition process. Check out the requirements below:
Live Audition and Interview
You will have a 30-minute session with our staff where you will be asked to perform:
- Contemporary monologue
- Classical monologue
- Song (Acapella or with music)
The audition will be followed by an interview.
Pre-Audition: Dance Solo Video
You will be asked to submit a dance solo through video.
Live Audition
During the live audition you will take part in:
- Ballet class
- Contemporary class and workshop
One-to-One Interview
You will have a one-to-one meeting with our staff.
Live Audition
During the live audition you will take part in a number of different dance techniques classes:
- Ballet
- Commercial
- Jazz
- Contemporary
One-to-One Interview
You will have a one-to-one meeting with our staff.

Video Submission
Part 1: Depends on specialisation:
- Acting: One monologue + optional monologue in your own language
- Music Theatre: One monologue + one song + 60-second jazz dance piece
Part 2: Creative response to stimuli:
A creative response of about 2 minutes to one of the stimuli listed in the audition guide.
One-to-One Interview
Online interview and discussion with yourself and members of the MA teaching team.
Frequently asked questions
We advise you to apply and audition early as programmes will close once full. Please submit your application at least one week before your audition date.
All elements of the application must be completed in English.
Yes, you can apply for one more than programme. We will arrange your audition times to ensure you can complete all elements of the auditions.
The format and decision criteria approach of both types of auditions is identical, so select which suits you best. Please only select one audition on your application form.
List the school, academic or vocational qualifications that you have already achieved, or are still studying, from age 17 years. Please list the qualifications as best fits your country’s system.
No, you don’t! If you pass the audition you would receive a conditional offer based upon you achieving the academic and English language requirements.
No, we don’t request any additional references.
