The Youth Academy is thrilled to introduce new acting classes tailored for young people aged 12 to 17. These sessions are designed to support those looking to advance their acting skills and embark on the next phase of their actor training journey.
Whether aspiring to take centre stage or simply exploring a passion for acting, this programme provides an excellent opportunity to enhance skills in a welcoming and engaging environment.
All teaching is in English (Spanish speakers welcome) and each course has been designed to bring out every child’s true potential in a safe and fun environment.

Saturday Acting Programme
Ages 12 – 17
The Youth Saturday Acting intensive programme and masterclasses offers young people aged 12 to 17 the chance to build ongoing confidence, self-esteem, and effective verbal communication through drama techniques and activities. This course introduces participants to a taste of conservatoire-level drama school training while providing a solid foundation in key acting methods.
Each term concludes with a performance, offering students a chance to present their progress and hard work to friends and family.
For newcomers, a trial session is available before committing to the full term.
Course Highlights
Key Skills Developed:
- Improvisation: Enhance the ability to think quickly and create captivating scenes.
- Character Development: Dive into storytelling and learn how to create compelling characters.
- Voice Training: Build clarity and projection for stage performance.
- Scene Study: Delve into scripts and explore emotions, character dynamics, and relationships.
Acting Methods Explored:
The course introduces the influential techniques of Konstantin Stanislavski, Michael Chekhov, and Sanford Meisner, providing participants with a comprehensive foundation in acting.
Physical Theatre and Performance:
Participants will explore physical theatre techniques, culminating in a dynamic end-of-term performance to showcase their growth.

Spring 2025 term dates: 11 January, 18 January, 25 January, 1 February, 8 February, 15 February, 1 March, 15 March, 22 March, 29 March, 5 April – Final performance day
Time: Every Saturday from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm
Fees: €295.00 (payable in one or two instalments)
Sibling Discount: 10% for two siblings | 15% for three or more siblings (per sibling).
