Scholarships and Financial Aid

The IAB is an independent organisation operating entirely without public funding. All students are required to pay Tuition Fees irrespective of age or background.

Important note:
Each student is responsible for the payment of their Tuition Fees and should not enrol on the programme unless appropriate funding is already in place.

As we are a private and small institution, financial support will be granted in a very few cases. All applicants must first apply and receive an offer to the programme, before they can be considered for financial support.

Applicants are strongly advised to consider how they will fund their Tuition Fees and living costs before applying to the IAB.

SCHOLARSHIPS

The IAB offers a limited number of scholarships each year. These are awarded to new students only and may be awarded for any of the IAB’s programmes. Scholarships will be offered to students identified by the faculty as having the potential to make a significant contribution to the development of the performing arts. If awarded, this constitutes a small reduction of your Tuition Fees.

You therefore cannot apply for a scholarship.

FINANCIAl aid

Financial aid is a grant towards your Tuition Fees. If awarded, this constitutes a small reduction of your Tuition Fees.

The financial aid application form must be submitted before the Registration Fee is paid. Applications must be accompanied by supplementary evidence.

other funding options

You are advised to search within your own home country for scholarships which could support you to attend the IAB.

You could also look into a private loan with a bank of your choice.
