Marta is a dancer and dance teacher based in Barcelona. She was trained in a wide variety of styles: contemporary, ballet, theatre jazz and modern jazz in different schools of Barcelona and around the city with leading teachers and choreographers such as Aixa Guerra, Ariadna Peya, Laura Olivella and Marta Bustamante.

She expands her knowledge in New York City in schools such as Broadway Dance Center, Steps on Broadway and Alvin Ailey.

She has been part of the cast of the Wizard of Oz, production of the company Believe Teatro, and the shows: The Nutcracker (jazz version), “L’ombra d’en Peter Pan” and “Els tres Mosqueters” by the production company Som-hi Films.

She has been a dancer and choreographer for the music band The Crab Apples, participating in festivals such as Primavera Sound. She has danced around the world aboard the American cruise line Princess Cruises, as part of the cast of dancers and singers who performed different shows; among them are choreographies of Al Blackstone and music by Stephen Schwartz.

She has always combined her dancing career with teaching. She is currently a jazz and modern jazz teacher in the professional training of Som-hi Dansa school in Barcelona and Quality Dance Studio in Badalona.
