Kazuko Omori

Born in Fukushima Japan, Kazuko trained at The Suzuki Classic Ballet academy in Japan and The Royal Ballet School of Flanders, Antwerp, Belgium. After graduating from the school she joined The Royal Ballet of Flanders Company. From 2001 to 2004 she danced in The Hong Kong Ballet Company, dancing as a soloist and there she was awarded the most promising newcomer. In the Autumn of 2006 she started dancing with Angel Corella and friends of The American Ballet Theater. In 2008 Kazuko joined the Corella Ballet (Barcelona Ballet) as First Soloist. She danced the role of Nikiya in Natalia Makarova’s La Bayadere and partnered Angel Corella and Herman Cornejo at the opening of The Corella Ballet at The Royal Theater in Madrid. Dancing all of the principal, soloist roles of the company including contemporary ballet. Kazuko also went to various International Ballet Gala as Angel’s partner and guest principal dancer in many companies in Japan and Spain Since 2016 she is working as ballet lecture in Institute of the Arts Barcelona and El Casinet Hostafrancs.
