Elena studied classical ballet with the prestigious teacher Maria de Avila. She obtained her dance degree at the Real Conservatorio Profesional de Danza de Madrid. She started her career as a classical dancer in 1997 in English National Ballet (London). In 1999 she joined IT dansa, with Cathérine Allard. She’s been a member of different classical and modern companies in Europe, perfoming the work of Jiri Kylián, Nacho Duato, Jacopo Godani, Jo Stromgren ,Rui Horta, Anjelin Preljocaj, José Montalvo et Dominique Hervieu, Gustavo Ramirez Sansano among others. She is a certified Pilates instructor and Low Pressure Fitness expert trainer, educated in Biology of chronic pain processes. Her teaching experience includes professional level of Classical Ballet and Contemporary Dance, Pilates and physical training for actors. Elena holds a diploma in Educational Psychology. Most recently he has completed a post-graduate programme specifically designed for teachers of theatre and performance, from Rose Bruford College, resulting in a Fellowship to the Higher Education Academy.
