CREART 2026

Creart is an annual site-specific dance festival run by the second year Contemporary dance students at the Institute of the Arts Barcelona. The performance consist of 17 unique choreographies, split up into 2 routes. Each piece explores different themes, embarking the audience on a journey that encourages both inwards and outwards reflection.

Choreographed by 2^nd year contemporary students, the works feature dancers from different programs and levels.  The show also includes guest performances by the Commercial 2^nd year dancers at IAB.

The audience will be guided through the performance, walking from site to site. At each show, you will choose to attend one of our two routes, "Merge" and "Dissonance". The routes will start and end together, but contain different dance pieces.

The choreographers presented in "Merge" are Tuva & Itzel, Caroline, Luka & Christina, Fleur & Mariana Wade, Mariana Moreno, Leonor, Giada, Maryne.

The choreographers presented in "Dissonance" are Marcela, Emma Mascolo, Chrysia, Ilia Elektra, Amber, Emma Forgeron, Sloan & Annie, Katie, Eleonore.

We also provide an option to watch only the theatre pieces, for audience members who prefer not to walk. It will consist of 6 pieces, three from each of the original routes. Contact [email protected] for more information.
