IAB teaching staff Jennifer Blake, Head of MA Dance Programme Leader, and Armando Rotondi, Associate Professor in performance Theory and MA Acting Programme Leader, are members of the jury of the prominent Choreoscope – Barcelona International Dance Film Festival, directed by loran Janos and held at the Cinema Malda and Filmoteca de Catalunya. The third distinguished member of the jury is Alex Murull, lecturer in Film Making at the Plato de Cinema.
Choreoscope is one of the most important International Dance Film Festivals around the world. It is dedicated not only to those passionate about dance, but also to those who enjoy quality cinema.
As members of the jury, Jennifer Blake and Armando Rotondi will review more that 30 films coming from Spain, USA, France, Italy, Finland, Korea, Japan, Germany, Afghanistan, Israel, China and others. The award ceremony will be Saturday 13th of October.
Together with Chorescope, Plato del Cinema and Thorus Art, IAB has always developed “4 events”, an official workshops for the Merce Cunningham Centennial.
