1. Submit an application form

In order to apply for this audition you will need to first submit an application form. In this form you will have to choose which programme would you like to audition for and which audition would you like to attend.

2. Prepare your audition

Make sure to prepare for you audition. Please read everything on the audition guides for the audition path you will be following, watch the video of the programme leader explaining the audition process.

What does the audition consist of?

Live Audition and Interview

You will have a 30-minute session with our staff where you will be asked to perform:

  • Contemporary monologue
  • Classical monologue
  • Song (Acapella or with music)
 

The audition will be followed by an interview.

What does the audition consist of?

Required video (Prior to the audition)

You will be asked to submit a contemporary dance solo video.

Live Audition

During the live audition you will take part in:

  • Ballet class
  • Contemporary section: warm-up, standing exercises based on release technique, a floor work section, a jump sequence and a final phrase with some guided improvisation
  • Interview

Please note: Cuts may take place through the audition process, with invited candidates only taking part in the full audition.

What does the audition consist of?

Required video (Prior to the audition)

You will be asked to submit a commercial dance solo video.

Live Audition

You will take part in the following tutor-led classes:

  • Jazz: Technical section, turns and kicks and combination
  • Commercial and Freestyle: Hip-Hop combination and guided freestlye
  • Interviews

Please note: Cuts may take place through the audition process, with invited candidates only taking part in the full audition.

What does the audition consist of?

STAGE 1: Video submission

You will be asked to submit a video of a:

  • Contemporary musical theatre song
  • Classical musical theatre song
  • Jazz dance video
  • Contemporary acting monologue

STAGE 2: Live audition

If you pass the first stage, you will be invited to take part in a live audition where you will be asked to attend a:

  • Ballet class
  • Jazz class
  • Individual presentation of songs and monologue plus interview

3. Attend the audition

On the day of the audition, make sure to arrive at least 15 minutes before the start time. Make sure you’ve warmed up, and that you are feeling relaxed and prepared. After the audition, it might take up to 30 days for you to receive your offer.
