Tolstoy’s adaptation “The Forged Coupon” by MA Acting alumnus published

The IAB is pleased to announce the publication of the collective play “The Forged Coupon”, adapted from homonymous novel by Leo Tolstoy and authored by former MA Acting Students Sinéad Brady, Gabriela Castillo, Caroline Galvis, Lyudmyla Honcharova, Rosie Lennox, Katie O’Byrne, Armando Rotondi, Freya Treutmann, and Samarth Trivedi.

The play, coordinated by Armando Rotondi (Ass. Prof. in Performance Theory and Programme Leader for the MA), has been developed during the Story-Telling module in academic year 2017-18 and performed with the direction of Andrew McKinnon, with excellent results in terms of the quality of the writing and the staging.

The edition of the play “The Forged Coupon” has been published as special issue of “Mise en Abyme. International Journal of Comparative Literature and Arts” (ISSN 2284-3310), curated by Armando Rotondi and an introduction of Andrew McKinnon.

“Mise en Abyme”  is a peer-reviewed open access international journal dedicated to comparative literature and the arts. Thanks to its international Advisory Board, “Mise en Abyme” aims at reaching a global audience of scholars. Contributions are in English, Italian, Spanish, French and German.
