Former IAB MA Acting Student appointed as Artist in Residence in Edinburgh

IAB is very pleased to announce that former MA student Freya Treutmann has been appointed as Artist in Residence at the Charioteer Theatre in Edinburgh with a performing arts project on “identity”.

Charioteer Theatre is an International Theatre Company and a training centre founded in 2005 to build cross-cultural bridges and provide unique theatrical experiences by enabling British and European actors to work collaboratively on joint projects.

Specifically, Freya will stage in the week of the 25th August to 1st September the plays “Evidence of Code” and “Scratch”, both developed at the IAB. Based on the relation between identity, communication studies and theatre, “Evidence of Code” has been originally developed, written, directed and performed by Freya as her Final Project for the MA in Acting at the IAB. “Scratch” was written and directed for the “Story-Telling and Playwriting” module at the MA.
