Lauren trained at Kirkham Henry Performing Arts Centre in North Yorkshire before attending Mountview Academy of Theatre Arts. She graduated with a First Class Honours Degree and was presented with the Gyearbour Astante Award for Acting.

Lauren made her professional debut playing the role of Carrie Pipperidge in the West End Production of Carousel, for which she received a TMA award nomination. She then went on to play Laura in the UK Tour of Dreamboats and Petticoats. Lauren then played Martha in The Secret Garden in the UK before transferring to Toronto, Canada. Lauren then worked at the Hull Truck theatre playing the leading role of L.V in The Rise and Fall of Little Voice and Gabriel in the Flint Street Nativity. She then went on to play Frenchy & cover Sandy in Grease on the UK No1 tour and Penny Pingleton in the National tour of Hairspray. Lauren then worked with writer and director Terry Johnson in the Stratford East production of Oh! What A Lovely War, touring the UK. She then fulfilled a dream of originating a role playing Vera in the original cast of Mrs. Henderson Presents at the Bath Theatre Royal before transferring to the Noel Coward Theatre, London. Lauren then played Gertie Cummings in Oklahoma at the Grange Park Opera and Cathy in The Last Five Years at the Welsh Millennium Centre. Lauren was lead vocalist for Sischo vocal group ‘Gravity’ touring the UK. Lauren made her TV debut working with comedian Victoria Wood for the BBC playing Betty in the Christmas Special. “Victoria Wood: A Midlife Christmas”

For the last ten years Lauren has run her own theatre workshops, masterclasses and is a private acting coach for students all over the world. in 2019 Lauren moved to the States where she worked as a director, choreographer and performance coach in Atlanta, Georgia. Lauren continually works as an acting coach, director and teacher in numerous UK drama schools most notably at Mountview Academy of Theatre Arts.
