Nare Hakobyan was born in Yerevan, Armenia. Studied at Lycée Français Anatole France in Yerevan and graduated in 2021, with a focus on fine arts. At Abelyan Art School, she began practicing acting in 2017 and gained the opportunity to collaborate with a community in professional settings. She has been involved in street dance for ten years, which has significantly influenced her approach to movement and performance.
From 2021 to 2024, she earned a BA in Theatre acting and directing at Aix-Marseille University. As part of her studies, she participated in three university productions and had internships in theatres in Monaco and Paris.
In 2025, she obtained a Master’s degree in Creative Performance from the Institute of the Arts Barcelona. Her master’s degree project was centered around Armenian origins.
She was involved as an actress, in two physical theaters and in a Greek tragedy in Aix-en-Provence. She performed in the show “Mankurt”, a political theatre about Kazakhstan and national identity. Her last performance was “ The Events” directed by Jozef Vlk.
She contributed to the Armenian Genocide – Institute by recording an audio guide in French, detailing the history of the Armenian Genocide.
She speaks Armenian, French, English, Russian and Spanish.
