The full-time IAB Foundation in Musical Theatre provides the opportunity for students to develop and grow, technically and creatively, readying themselves to begin the journey towards a career in performance.
Who is the Programme For?
The programme is suitable for those who wish to study a pre-degree programme to enhance their skills prior to application, and those who wish to spend a year’s study exploring and developing their singing and musical theatre performance potential.
Normally students will be at least 18 within the first term of programme.
Intensive and Practical
The course is all about doing – learning through practice – in a supportive yet challenging interdisciplinary environment. The IAB Foundation is practical and studio-based and culminates in a number of performances in the IAB theatre.
The programme is noted for the strong tutorial support and guidance it gives its students to enable them to make the best choices as to where and how they wish their future training or career to develop.
