Jessica Hallam

American Scout

A native of Madison, Wisconsin, Jessica received her B.F.A arts degree in Dance at the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point.  Her professional career has taken her around the world performing for international companies including Walt Disney World, Disneyland, Universal Studios Florida, Hardrive Productions in Atlantic City, Royal Caribbean Cruise Line, Cirque Du Soliel, Dream Cast Entertainment in Las Vegas, and the Los Angeles Avenger Pro Arena Football Team in L.A..  In addition, her television credits include: NBC Suddenly Susan, Univision’s Lagrimita and Costel, Caliente, Mercury Insurance commercials, and Disney Channel Disney 50th anniversary special with Julie Andrews. 

Jessica has had the pleasure of performing for Disney Buena Vista Production Movie Red Carpet Premiers, including Herbie Fully Loaded, Brother Bear, Finding Nemo, Emperors New Groove, Monsters Inc., skeleton crew for Hong Kong Disney and the DVD release of the hit movie CHICAGO.  She has also appeared as a back up dancer for Christina Aguilera, Monica, and live performances with Sir Elton John, Julio Iglesias, Spinal Tap, Harry Connick Jr. and a “Tribute to Jersey Boys”. Jessica has done fashion modeling for companies such as Redken NYC, E3 Microsoft X Box, Royal Caribbean Cruise Line, as well as fashion modeling for BEBE SPORT in Beverly Hills, and Columbia College Chicago.

While performing and teaching in California, Jessica received her Certifications in both Pilates (PMA), and The Gyrotonic expansion system.  She completed the Graduate Certification of Laban Movement Analysis (GLCMA) at Columbia College Chicago (May 2011).  Jessica recently received her M.A. Dance with Distinction from Institute of the Arts Barcelona in Sitges Spain, May 2017.  In addition to her professional performing career, she has has shared her education in teaching ranging from dance competitions, private studios, dance conventions, inner city after school programs and international universities.

Since 2013, she has had the pleasure in being the U.S. Talent Scout for Institute of the Arts Barcelona (IAB) in creating international opportunities for American students to pursue their Performing Arts Degrees abroad.  In October of 2017, she launched “Gats Meow Festival” celebrating the spirit of a child and the artistic expression of local artists in support and awareness for local cat shelters in Barcelona, Spain.  Within the creation of the Festival, she directed and choreographed the International Musical Premiere of “MISS FIFI COSMIC KITTEN”  based on the the story and character by Silvia Duran, musical composition/lyrics by Manu Velasquez, and script by JP Costa Ferreira. 

Jessica continues to use her passion and love for dance as a platform for expression, communication, advocacy, and awareness to inspire and educate young men and woman around the world and most of all; CREATION.
